Since the far-right government settled into power, the Negev has become a battlefield of ruins. Nearly 10,000 Bedouin citizens, with broken dreams and shattered roofs, have been left homeless. About 800 homes were demolished in 2023, over 1,000 in 2024, and now, in 2025, the numbers keep climbing. Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, head of the "Southern Enforcement Administration," isn’t content with tearing down walls - he’s targeting entire neighborhoods and villages, as if someone handed him an axe and said, “Have fun, kid.”

His propaganda races ahead, faster than the bulldozers. With the marketing savvy of a used-car salesman, he’s figured out that the Negev is his political redemption, a way to hide his failures elsewhere. Here, he gets broad support from the courts, with their by-the-book formalism, and from the media, which has spent years blaming the victims.
Everyone’s pleased, everyone’s cheering for “governance” - from the hard right to the moderate left, who avert their gaze and mumble something about “rule of law.” Who doesn’t love a good story about order triumphing over chaos? But anyone who doesn’t view reality through the blunt blade of a bulldozer, understands that governance, order, and prosperity will only come when the bedouin villages are recognized, and destruction is replaced with growth.
Against this well-oiled machine - publicly funded spokespeople, journalists settling for copy-paste, and judges keeping the law as dry as the desert - stand 100,000 residents of the unrecognized villages with a megaphone running on fading batteries: just one paid spokesperson, no budget, no professional army, no air-conditioned studios. Only a handful of dedicated volunteers.
We’ve had our share of successes: we crafted messages that reached millions of Israelis, changed the minds of some key journalists, and slightly shifted the needle of public opinion - but these are just the first steps. Meanwhile, the bulldozer keeps singing, and it’s not singing lullabies.

That’s why we’re turning to you. We need resources to reshape the story of the Bedouin unrecognized villages for millions of Israelis. Help us fight the unprecedented number of demolitions, by strengthening three key areas:
1. Writing and editing content and stories from the villages
2. Graphic design and video editing
3. Targeted work with mainstream broadcast media
Help us protect human rights and fulfill the dream of village residents to live legally, enjoy a flourishing environment, and grow and thrive without the constant fear of losing their homes. Thank you!
